About Sporo

When I first started playing golf, I found it really hard to meet new people. Most other apps either had fake accounts or were expensive to join, only to find very few people actually registered in my area. As I travelled a lot for work, I could never easily arrange matches with locals — there just wasn't an app that worked for me.

That's why I created Sporo — to connect real people with genuine players who love sport.

I understand that some people may be put off by having to get verified, and that's fine. But our aim is simple: remove the fake accounts and bots so that everyone on Sporo is genuinely who they say they are. Sporo is designed with your safety in mind, because when we know our members are real, we can all just enjoy the sports we love.
